Capt. Dave Pomerleau, The Mad Snooker, and his good friend Joe Camacho took The Mad Snooker’s custom built over-the-top bait trailer, and went out for a night of Monster Snook fishing from land. The reason we use this heavy tackle is because in this place and many others like it, the Snook sometimes run ENORMOUS and when you hook Monster Snook around razor sharp barnacle encrusted structure, more ofter than not, the really big Snook will wrap you up and cut you off faster than you can say what happened? Of course you can land Monster Snook on lighter tackle on the beach, inlets, passes, and on an open flat, but Monster Snook don’t spend a large amount of time in these locations.
