Entry from: Tortuguero, Costa Rica Entry Title: “Green turtles” Entry: “Hi everyone- Thanks so much for your emails! I love getting them. Its been busy few days. I spend the last 2 nights in Tortuguero which was amazing. A cute little village in the middle of the jungle. I was able to go on an early morning canoe trip and go on the beach and see green turtles laying eggs. To start at the beginning, I found my way pretty easily on both buses and on the boat. It was so much cheaper too instead of booking something in San Jose. I think they want to charge around for the day to Tortuguero, but my travels there were , the hostel with warm water was a night (2 nights), turtle tour , canoe tour , and then leaving this morning was a 3 hour boat ride to Moin () plus a bus ride to Puerto Viejo, a Jamaican Beach town. Its been great. I took the 9am bus from San Jose to Cariari then I walk about 5 blocks to the next bus station and baught the bus and boat ticket to Tortuguero. It was really easy and cheaper. On my way to Tortuguero I met a couple from Switzerland, who is very nice, and we decided to share a room together when we got to Tortuguero. We also meet an Austrian guys who’s also very nice.
